On Wednesday, August 17th, we are excited to release an update to Wixie that will refresh the interface for teachers and administrators. The goal is to update the interface to take advantage of the larger screens that have become popular since the product was first released.

This release is not a change in functionality, but a change in look. All of your training materials and step-by-step guides will continue to provide accurate information.

These screenshots will give you a good idea of what to expect in the change from the old interface to the new one. This example shows the Students tab that teachers use to explore and evaluate student work.

As you can see, the major functionality is in the same places, but the size and appearance of items has changed.

We know some of you have already gone back to school, but we want to make this update available before the majority of teachers and students start using Wixie for the new school year. No one will need retraining based on these changes.
