Today we released an update to the Wixie Teacher Tools and Administration tools. This update adds a new privacy setting for schools and districts as well as reorganizes some functions to hopefully make them easier to find.

Here is what is new:

New privacy setting. Organizations now have the option to only require a Public Key when viewing student work. This makes it much easier for teachers to share what they are creating in Wixie while still restricting access to student work.

Assignments Actions button. We added a new button to the details page for an assignment. This Actions button replaces several other buttons and hyperlinks and includes all of the possible actions on an assignment in one place. From the Actions button you can edit assigned projects, add standards to assigned projects, edit or remove assessments, and delete assignments.

Activities Actions button. We also added an Actions button to the details page for an activity in the Library. This Actions button replaces several other buttons and hyperlinks and includes all of the possible actions on an activity in one place. From the Actions button you can edit or customize an activity, edit the project grades and description, add standards, edit or delete an assignment if the activity is already assigned, and edit or remove assessments from the activity.
